GCCF "IMPERIAL" Show Title

The following criteria are proposed for the awarding of the additional, prestigious show titles of Imperial Champion and Imperial Premier
a) Once a cat has attained its Champion or Premier title, it will still be able to enter the Open and Grand classes (as at present).
b) The titles of Grand Champion and Grand Premier and the method of attainment will remain the same.
c) Once a cat has attained this status it may then, if wished, be entered for two of the following three classes: Imperial, Grand, Open .
d) The Imperial classes will be available at all Championship shows with the exception of the Supreme, where UK Grands will continue to be offered.
e) The categories in which certificates will be awarded are
Persian (Self & Non-Self combined)
Semi-Longhair (Birman & AOV Semi-Longhair combined)
British
Foreign (Original & AOV Foreign combined)
Burmese
Oriental & Siamese combined (smaller entries do not justify separate sections. There is to be an obligation of intention to review this situation)
f) The Imperial classes will be split Adult and Neuter and further split Male and Female.
g) Judges of Imperial classes must be those judges who are eligible to judge the equivalent Grand class or classes.
h) The cat must have been awarded 5 Imperial certificates from 5 different judges to attain the title Imperial Grand Champion or Imperial Grand Premier. Reserve certificates will be awarded.
i) A medal will be awarded for those cats achieving the titles.
Because changes to GCCF Rules to accommodate these new classes need to be proposed to and agreed by Council, 1 June 2005 is the earliest date at which the new classes can be implemented.

A very big "thank you" to JAYNE WOOD, whose recently organised Open Day raised £200.00 for Rex Rehome!

Carlene Hewitt, for travelling from Surrey to man the kitchen, and organise the raffle prizes; Judy Mcdonald, for donating raffle prizes and running the Raffle; and Jayne's sister, Kate, for coming to the rescue at the last minute, when other helpers didn't appear!

Thank you also, Alice Moynihan, for kindly donating money to buy tombola prizes; Sally Goulty for her kind donation of High Street Shopping Vouchers; and last but not least,  Wendy Dunn, Jackie Green & Judith Brimsden for their kind donations.

A very sincere thank you from Rex Rehome!!
